CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY STUDY OF NEW FAMILY HOUSE LEŠTINA.
Drábek, Martin ; Nečasová, Barbora (referee) ; Kovářová, Barbora (advisor)
The aim of bachelor´s thesis is the construction and technological studies and selected technical prescriptionts for a new house multigenerational family house in Leština at Herálec. Bachelor´s thesis contains technical prescriptionts, and their corresponding control test plans, also includes time and financial plan for stage of coarse substructure, the resolution of wider transport relations, project construction site equipment, catalogue of used machinery, balance the deployment of workers, drawings movements mechanical assemblies, health and safety plan, and the seminar work for the design of wastewater treatment plant.
Sludge Pumping on WWTP
Fadrný, Tomáš ; Medek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Boráň, Jaroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the best solution design for a sludge fitting, especially focusing on the right choice of pumps for the waste water treatment plant in Prostějov. The pumps were selected for a circulation pipeline, which heats up the sludge. Several measurements were carried out in order to determine the statistical evaluation of the properties of the pumped medium. The figures gained were used to calculate pressure losses. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part provides a theoretical analysis of the problem and the second part presents the results and subsequently the reasoning for the new selection of pumps in order to change the WWTP technology from the mesophilic to the thermophilic sludge digestion. The test records describing the testing of the individual samples of the pumped sludge are attached.
Energy Optimization of WWTP
Frank, Ivo ; Sousedík, Milan (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
Objectives of this bachelor thesis are to offer a brief tutorial on how to proceed with the energy audit of the wasterwater treatment plant and offer energy-efficient and economical alternatives to the technologies and equipment currently used for mechanical and biological wastewater treatment processes. Chapter with practical part of the thesis deals with possible applications of retreived knowledge on to operations of WWTP Mikulov in order to optimize its energy efficiency.
Harvesting and reuse of cellulose from wastewater
Kobzová, Kamila ; Úterský, Michal (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to highlight the properties of cellulose fibers obtained from waste water and the importance of recycling of raw materials. The main objective is then to further explore the possibilities of using cellulose fibers as a valuable product on the market. The practical part of the thesis is focused on specific research of cellulose properties and design of equipment for sewage treatment plant according to its size.
Optimization of Energy Flow During WWTP Operation - Smart Area Net
Pěcha, Jiří ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Braciník,, Peter (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The dissertation work deals with the issue of water treatment and possibilities of energy savings during the operation of sewage treatment plants. The aim of the work is to find the potential of alternative energy use, economical consumption, improvement of the facility system management and quality improvement of the wastewater treatment process. In the first part of the work, operating processes, energy flows and energy savings are discussed. To analyze the problematics, larger sewage treatment plants were chosen. Thanks to their size, it was easier to find critical points and test the usage of renewable sources in operation. After the energy audit, the individual processes were assessed and real operation pitfalls were determined. Further steps led to focusing on smaller facilities up to 2 000 PE. This step was carried out with the intention of preparing these plants for the planned legislative change and helping to create or modernize more energy-efficient solutions. Thanks to the establishment of consortium of Brno University of Technology, the Department of Electric Power Engineering and a company dealing with water treatment and automation control, a solution was created that modernize the electrical, automation and water treatment part of the plant operation. This innovative application was installed in the sewage treatment plant, where the issues were debugged, control algorithms were tested and the entire operation was launched in automatic mode. At the end of the wastewater treatment plant modernization, PV panels were installed on the roof, thus partially suppling the object with renewable energy.
Upgrading of wastewater treatment plant by means of MBR technology.
Spratková, Aneta ; Rusník,, Igor (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of membrane technologies used in wastewater treatment. The research part of the thesis deals with membrane separation of activated sludge, and the focus is on the submerged membrane modules. The thesis contains basic principles of MBR systems, an overview of used membrane modules, modes of operation, advantages and disadvantages of using this process. The practical part of the thesis proposes the intensification of WWTP Perná with using MBR technology. This part includes the technical-economic assessment of the activation WWTP with the third stage of treatment and activation WWTP with MBR.
Level scraping systems of settlement tanks
Rusník, Tomáš ; Hort, Filip (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
Main topic of this bachelor thesis is analyse of settlement tanks scraping equipements in sewage plants. Settlement tank at the wastewater treatment plant is part of the so-called bio-lines, which is used for the separation of activated sludge from waste water. Activated sludge settles in the settling zone. Part of the sludge flotates to the surface of the tank, usually in the space between the inflow cylinder and overflow edge, respectively. This sludge, biological or chemical origin, may, at the massive occurrence, outflow to the recipient and causes worse quality of the effluent. The sludge is therefore necessary to remove from surface of the settlement tank. Some of the different systems of sludge collection have been developer during last decades. The equipments and their function are descriped in my work.
Recovery of celulose from wastewater
Kobzová, Kamila ; Úterský, Michal (referee) ; Hlavínek, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to point to amount of cellulose in water-waste, which manly came from people homes. Other goal is to show possibilities how to obtain this cellulose from sewage in other countries and how to use it afterward. Practical part of this thesis focuses on project which filter cellulose in sewage treatment plant in Brno-Modřice.
The effect of WWTP om the water quality in the stream
Kunert, Michal ; Benešová, Libuše (advisor) ; Komínková, Dana (referee)
The aim of this work is to monitor the quality of Čermenka creek by determining the basic physical and chemical parameters and concentration of ions present in water samples and subsequent impact on the quality of the water after the construction of new waste water treatment plant. Keywords : water quality, water pollution, wastewater treatment plant
